Prof Stuart Crozier
Professor Stuart Crozier, Director of the Biomedical Engineering Group at UQ holds The University of Queensland's inaugural chair in Biomedical Engineering, awarded in 2002. He has worked for more than 20 years in medical engineering and was awarded a higher doctorate (DEng) in 2001 for his innovation in MRI Engineering. Professor Crozier is the principal MR engineer behind the development of both the Asymmetric MRI and Compact Magnet patentsProfessor Doddrell, Professor Crozier and Dr Evans have worked successfully together in the past to sell their IP to world leaders in health care systems, namely GE and Siemens. Their technology is now incorporated in most GE and Siemens systems worldwide.
Professor Doddrell and Professor Crozier have a successful track record in commercialising their R&D. In particular, together with Dr David Evans, they have successfully negotiated a licence deal with GE and Siemens. This MRI technology is now incorporated in most GE and Siemens systems worldwise.
Professor Doddrell and Professor Crozier are consultants to the Company and Senior Advisors to the Scientific and Advisory Committee.
