Prof David Doddrell
Professor David Doddrell, Director of the Centre for Magnetic Resonance at the University of Queensland (UQ), has 37 years experience in magnetic resonance spectroscopy concentrating his research in the past 22 years to the application of the technology to the study of humans and animals. He is an inventor on 11 patented inventions in the field and a consultant to a number of the major vendors of MRI and NMR systems. In 1998, he was elected to the Australian Academy of Science specifically for his contribution to magnetic resonance imaging.
